WELCOME TO THE AROHA CARE CENTRE
Aroha Care Centre is administered by the Taita Home Trust Board Incorporated, a charitable trust set up by the Wellington Baptist Association and Presbyterian Support Services (Central).
The Taita Home Trust Board continues to work towards meeting the needs of the older adult.
Aroha has undergone voluntary auditing with Quality Health New Zealand 1994-2004 and currently has three year Certification with the Ministry of Health.
Aroha continues to maintain quality care to meet the needs of clients in a culturally appropriate way.
Its unique quality and high standard of service have been built on the solid foundations of caring, giving and sharing. The staff continue to embrace Aroha's Christian philosophy to ensure that those who reside at Aroha receive excellent care.
Presently, the redevelopment plan to upgrade the hospital unit is near completion. This 3 stage project will on completion provide hospital residents with a private room with ensuite and television unlike the original design of 4 bed cubicles.
